Meet Faith chester!
A Passionate and talented entrepreneur who has a heart for styling, educating, and dancing! The moment I met faith I was drawn to her for her down to earth personality and passion she has for the things she loves. this was actually my second time photographing faith and this session was really special, but not for the reason you might think…
It was a grey day to begin with and when faith arrived I could tell her normal spark and lively personality was like the weather. A little more grey than her normal up beat self!
We quickly got her into hair and makeup and It was like we hadn’t skipped a beat since the last session. We were chatting away and she was spilling out everything that was building up for what seemed like a good while. We talked about how business has had its ups and downs and I related so much to this. We discussed how we both have passions in certain areas, but finding balance each day can truly drain you. honestly dishing out these feelings truly helped me feel more refreshed in knowing I’m not alone and that another business woman can relate. Business is hard & so is life.
After much of dishing out our thoughts , we took those feelings and poured them into the session. & Thats when the magic happens, when you bring it all to the studio and let it out!
some people might question “ Why would you want to do a boudoir session?” & Truly everyone has a different answer. In the way that not everyone has a different finger print, no two people are alike. People are complex, we have so many thoughts and feelings that we are all just trying to understand and express. Boudoir is an art form that allows you to break down all the thoughts and feelings you have suppressed in your head, and allows you to unravel them and turn them into a positive form of expression. You are the art, and there is something so emotional and beautiful about that.
After faiths full session of hair and makeup, clothes changes, and posing. We sat down to really connect and have more heart to heart discussions. It’s absolutely wild to see someones mental state shift while they are in the studio. watching their guard come down, seeing them bloom, and to be able to connect with that shift whole heartedly is also such a blessing.
